Willie Hunter
Willie Hunter started training martial arts at the age of 3 years old under the tutelage of his father, Willie R, Hunter Sr.  Mr. Hunter has been studying martial arts for over 30 years.  Throughout his martial arts training, Mr. Hunter has also had the opportunity to work with and study under, Soke Kuniba, Brian Manna, Guru Richard Bustillo, Ajarn Chai Sirisute, Pedro Sauer, Frank Cucci, Phil Miligaresse and Harold Hankins.  During his early years in the martial arts, Mr. Hunter was a national competitor. One of Mr. Hunter memorial competitions was the Ed Park International Championships. This Martial Arts Championship was made famous by the late Bruce Lee. Mr. Hunter placed 1st in the nation at this event. Today, Mr. Hunter enjoys teaching, training, and mentoring his students and instructors.  Mr. Hunter is often enlisted by the public and private school systems to speak on the topics of discipline, confidence, goal setting and the importance of a good education.

 


Mike Holmes
Mike Holmes is the Lead Jiu Jitsu Instructor for TIGER Martial Arts Academy. Mike has been training at TIGER since 2008.  Mike trains in the academy’s Thai boxing, Karate, and Judo programs.  As an instructor, Mike is patient, technical and informative; one of Mike’s best qualities is his ability to connect with each student to ensure they are getting the most out of each lesson.  Mike has trained and studied under Pedro Sauer, Phil Miligarees, and Relson Gracie.

 

 


Brandon Freeman
Brandon Freeman has been training at TIGER Martial Arts Academy since 1996. Brandon is a Lead Instructor for the Academy’s Thai Boxing and Youth Jiu Jitsu Programs. Students at TIGER not only enjoy Brandon’s high energy classes, they also appreciate his passion for the martial arts and the passion he has for their success. Brandon has trained and studied under Ajarn Sirsute Chai, Pedro Sauer, Rener Gracie, Phil Miligarees, and Relson Gracie.  Brandon also has earned an Associate Degree in Business and Administration from Tidewater Community College.

 

 

Kevin Osfolk
Kevin Osfolk has been training at TIGER Martial Arts Academy since 2002 and is a 1st degree Black Belt in TIGER’s Combative System. Kevin also studies Thai boxing, Kali, and Jiu Jitsu.  He actively trains Jiu Jitsu under Pedro Sauer Jiu Jitsu Association.  When Kevin is not running his family restaurant the Bier Garden, he is teaching and training at TIGER.

 

 

 


Mike Yochum (Judo)
Sensei Mike Yochum started training Judo in 1964 in Pittsburgh PA.  Sensei Yochum was 5 years old when his father gave him the birthday gift that would forever change his life. Since then, Sensei Yochum has earned the rank of 6th degree Black Belt under KyuHa Kim. Sensei Yochum goal is for his students to develop mentally and physically through their training at TIGER Martial Arts Academy.
